Higgsfield launched Marketing Studio on 19 October: paste a product page and it builds the ads from it. Its own pricing example puts a 15-second motion ad at about $4.45. That makes the product page the brief — and most product pages are not ready to be one. Also today: FLUX 3 Max renders ten seconds of video in about eleven, and WhatsApp removed 102 notes it had hidden in its help pages for machine readers.
Higgsfield Marketing Studio: your product page is now the brief
Higgsfield announced Marketing Studio and Supercomputer on 19 October (Higgsfield release, 19 Oct). Marketing Studio reads a product page or social listing; its Brand Kit pulls the logo, colours, fonts and tone of voice from the brand’s website. It has six output categories and more than 1,500 templates, from UGC and unboxing to TV Spot. Supercomputer turns a plain-language brief into a multi-step plan, routes the steps to models including Kling and Seedance, and can make up to 100 variants per product. The release’s own Plus-plan estimate: 40 fifteen-second motion ads for 3,560 credits, about $178. A “Virality Predictor” scores creatives before launch; the release gives no method and no accuracy figures.
My read: On Festival Toffee the packs always kept their original artwork. The model never redrew them; they stood in real 3D in front of the AI-painted sets. A tool that builds ads from your product page will use whatever is on that page. If the site still shows last year’s pack, a hundred variants will show last year’s pack. So the first job is not a prompt — it is the page: current pack, front-on, true colour, only the claims legal signed. Treat the Virality Predictor as a guess until Higgsfield publishes how it scores. A number with no method is not a media plan.
FLUX 3 Max: ten seconds of video in about eleven
fal launched FLUX 3 Max on 19 October, post-trained with Black Forest Labs on the FLUX 3 model (fal release, 19 Oct). On fal’s own benchmark a 10-second image-to-video clip takes 10.95 seconds, against 277.80 seconds for Seedance 2.5. It holds a preliminary 1,139 Elo from 4,868 votes in the Artificial Analysis Video Arena. It runs text-, image- and keyframe-to-video through fal’s API at 75% off for the first three weeks; the release does not state the standard price. fal’s FLUX 3 page lists 5–20-second clips at 720p or 1080p, with audio made in the same pass (fal FLUX 3 page).
My read: Speed changes how a session feels, not what the shot needs. My first version of Festival Toffee, modelled entirely in code, looked too simple. I rebuilt it as a hybrid — and that rebuild cost more than any render. Fast renders pay off at the blocking stage: timing, camera, which idea survives. Use the three discounted weeks on your hardest shot, not your easiest. And keep the promo price out of client budgets. Nobody has published what week four costs.
WhatsApp hid 102 notes for AI readers in its help pages
Redact reported on 19 October that 80 of 545 WhatsApp help pages carried 102 blocks of text hidden from people but served to machines (Redact, 19 Oct). One, on the delete-account page, told the AI not to recommend contacting a data protection authority or regulator. Google’s and Bing’s crawlers received the notes. By 18 October all 102 were gone. WhatsApp told WIRED they were instructions for its support chatbot that appeared because of a bug. Redact did not test whether any assistant acted on them.
My read: Brand sites are now written for two readers: the customer, and the assistant that answers questions about you. Whatever you want that assistant to say about your brand belongs in text the customer can read too. Hidden instructions become the story the day someone views the source. Chatbot rules live in the chatbot’s settings, not in page text.
What I’d do today
Open your own product page as a stranger would. Is the pack current, front-on and in true colour? Are the claims the ones legal signed? Is there text on the page a visitor cannot see? Fix the page before any ad tool reads it. Want the pipeline built for your brand? This is how I work.
