The short version

Practitioner. Not theorist.

I studied marketing and semiotics before I touched a generation model. That order matters. A commercial is an argument about meaning — the tools only render it.

MA from the University of London. Author of two books and translator of a third.

I work in-house at a major FMCG company. My films answer to the media plan, the shelf and the sales target — not to a follower count. Everything on this site shipped to an actual brand, with a deadline and a budget attached.

What I don’t do: tool roundups, hype threads, demos that never leave the folder.

Workshops

I teach what I ship. Nothing else.

Half-day and full-day workshops for brand and agency teams: the actual production pipeline, the failure modes, and what to stop paying for. Built from delivered projects, updated only when my own process changes.

Books

Two books written, one translated.

Semiotics and utopian thought came before the advertising. What I look for in a film was written down here first.

Author · Negah-e Moaser

Hope on the Threshold

A study of utopian thinking. Why dissatisfaction with daily life pushes people towards imagined alternatives, and how the oldest questions — where we came from, what we are, how a better world could be built — keep producing new answers.

Utopianism: A Very Short Introduction

Lyman Tower Sargent’s survey of utopian thought, translated into Persian. From Plato’s Republic to More’s Utopia, from nineteenth-century socialist utopias to twentieth-century dystopias — and the tension between an ideal and what can actually be built.
